Flower Route

August is flower time in Namaqualand and everyone is excited to see flowers and come from everywhere to explore our great floral world.

This route is available from 1st of August to mid-September. This route needs to be done in full sunshine for opening of flowers and optimal enjoyment of colour.

Your feet will lead you to our flower route in order to express your soul. If you are not much of a walker, you will need a higher vehicle to drive the route.

There is a long and short route (5.6 & 7.8km) and we have more or less 1500 different plant species in our region.

Entry fee:
R20.00 per person

Guided tour:
The tariff is R150.00 extra for one hour walking.
This needs to be booked 24 hours in advance.
